Some jewelry just IS ugly...

I've been doing a lot of tweeking in my Etsy shop and came across a post by a man who dyes his own wool for the projects that he makes.  He wrote that he had intended this particular skein of wool to be a mix of two different colors, but the wool came out in a mix of some very ugly shades.  He wrote that his wife told him she absolutely thought he should not use that skein of wool and he was asking for other opinions of this.

That made me think about some of my jewelry.  I don't partuicularly care for the style of every piece of  jelwelry I create.  Some of it is not as "pretty" as I like my jewelry to be, but the things that are not necessarily my style, sell just as well as the other things.  In fact, sometimes the the pieces that I think are lovely, take longer to sell!

By now I have so many beads and so many different colors and styles accumulated, that I have an unlimited amount of designs I could come up with.  I know that not all of my pieces will be my favorites, but that doesn't mean that someone else won't be entranced by the piece.  And now, I'm off to create some new pieces!
